As the Research Strategy and Impact Officer within the Office for Research, Griffith University, I enable and support strategies for enhancing the external and internal communication and visibility of Griffith’s research impact. l work collaboratively with researchers, academic elements, and professional offices in embedding impact within Griffith’s research excellence landscape. My team and I support Griffith’s researchers in identifying, evidencing, and communicating their research impact across grants, translation and dissemination activities, rankings, marketing campaigns and stakeholder engagement.With a background in both research (natural products chemistry) and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) engagement and communications, I am passionate about helping researchers build their confidence and skills in communicating their research impact. I am also an advocate for equity and inclusion, and I love to fill needs gaps.
