My key responsibilities are to maintain the everyday running of the daytime trade (November 2017- April 2018) as well as nighttime trade (June 2018-Present); this included customer service and using POS systems, barista/bartender work, general cleaning and maintaining stock, and some food preparation. Due to the size of the venue this often meant that I was sole employee for majority of service which allowed me to demonstrate my time management and efficiency skills, as well as my ability to be self-motivated.

In my current role I am responsible for opening and closing procedures, cash handling, maintaining bar stock levels, supervising junior staff members, coffee training, as well as coffee production. We are a busy café, producing hundreds of drinks an hour, specialising in catering to dietary needs. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask and efficient time management are all key skills I have refined while in this role.
