I am a director with over twenty years experience. I have a background in acting and devising and have developed a particular experience and skill in planning and staging large-scale participatory projects, directing people with little or no performing experience alongside exceptional professionals. I have also gained a deep interest and experience in dramaturgy, working with new writing, devising music-led performances, and visual storytelling. I have worked on main stages, in studio theatres, concert halls, cinemas, foyers, churches, museums, big tops, art galleries, streets, cafes, country houses, and a WW2 battleship, and always aim to make theatre that is sophisticated, exhilarating and accessible to all.
