As we got to know each other over a few cups of coffee over the years it struck me just how different she was from those of her peers Ever considerate, a listener, always asking great questions that didn't allow for dancing around in the answer. She is now, as then an astute young person who doesn't waste time on the inane or pointless; yet at the same time she also knows how to have fun, when it's appropriate to let go of a problem and return to it at a later date with a fresh perspective. At the same time Emma never gave me the impression that she had any problem at all of being able to relate to anyone in her own age group, very comfortable are the words I would use when describing Emma in her own skin. Now Emma has grown into a young adult and from a distance I have had the pleasure of watching her determination, her goal oriented approach to both school and work, her flowing into the type of person employers say they can't find, age with her. Any company inquiring as to whether she would be a good candidate for a position in her field of study who simply threw her resume into the slush pile honestly, does not deserve a person of this quality and character. On the other hand any company that tool on Miss Bissonnette as an employee, would find a person ready for the tasks assigned and willing and able to learn and take instruction. From the first day I met her when she sold me the right shirt and accessories for a family members wedding, I knew through our interactions, I had at that moment met a person of great character in the midst of developing fine attitudes. Fortunately for me the coffee shop I frequented was a mere 100 feet from her place of employment and the days when I chance would bring us together on her break were certainly made better by the few minutes of her company.
