I was responsible for selling an ultra premium pet food to independent retailers and veterinary practices in the areas of Suffolk, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Peterborough, Essex and Kent. Best practices involve establishing customer needs, making appropriate range recommendations and working with customers on developing sales and growing business opportunities in order to achieve mutual targets, budgets and profitability.

As an Account Manager I was involved in pet foods and publications exclusively to the veterinary profession. I was solely responsible for developing business and grow sales for these new products to the market. In addition to the above role, I also assisted with the marketing and development of their pet food products and attended veterinary congresses.

As an Area Sales Manager for one of the largest independent small animal feed manufactures. I was responsible for growing and managing sales in the areas of London, Kent, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Greater Edinburgh. Looking after Key Accounts, Wholesalers, Veterinary Practices and independent retailers. As well as attending veterinary and retail trade shows both home and abroad.

Working alongside the Area Sales Mangers, wholesalers and direct accounts, processing all orders received, ensuring that customer service was maintained to the highest standard.
