Hi there! I am in my 4th year at UBC studying my Bachelor’s of Science in Natural Resources Conservation, with a major in Sciences + Management. In my first year, I was selected for Land-One, an integrated science program for a small cohort of students within the Faculties of Land and Food Systems and Forestry. The real journey began in high school, where I committed myself to 8 years of high-performance athletics. This built the foundation for where I stand today. Then, I strove to achieve balance and dedication in all aspects of my life. Now, I am devoted to the intersection of my skills and passions to build on those principles. I have a strong skill set in interpersonal relationships/communications, time-management, and proven ability to take on leadership roles across diverse projects and intiatives. Overall, I have an unwavering drive to learn and collaborate with others. Through engaging in courses from a wide range of topics, varying from ecology and plant biology to scholarly argumentation in writing and visualizing climate change, I have developed a passion for advocacy, education, and policy.Above all, I am always open to new opportunities and experiences to better the world in which we all live.
