I was also selected as the female representative for UNC-Asheville to attend an NCAA Athletics Leadership Conference my Sophomore Year. I received the Academic Excellence award multiple for our team multiple times throughout my five years competing at UNC-A. I set the school record in the 3,000m Steeplechase, won the Big South Conference gold in the 3K Steeplechase my 5th year, and just missed qualifying for NCAA Regionals (0.5 seconds) in my final season. I served as the girls team captain for multiple years.
