During my time with the company, I assisted in the training of new hires in database systems. I became familiar with salesforce and another financial database model. My role specialised in working as a brand representative selling financial products and packages to members. Due to this, I had to maintain product knowledge and financial product training to properly assist members and provide superior service. I recommended correct financial products for members and managed to set up financial meetings for members from this knowledge. During my time there, I consistently exceeded sales goals each month, averaging 135% for monthly sales. I also provided administration help to other financial advisors to set up and schedule appropriate meetings to fit members’ needs. This helped give me experience in administrative tasks and sales.

Through this role, I was able to get experience in not only Management but Human Resources. Within the hotel, I helped assist in the recruitment of new hires. My role also had me training and following company onboarding policy for all new operations staff at the property. From this, I was then responsible to brief management on the status of new employees training. In addition, I helped develop and work with the Human Resource Manager to develop new hiring practices and job descriptions. While managing the reception and events, I mentored and trained staff by effectively delegating and organizing tasks during shifts. From an analyst perspective, I assisted management with revenue management by analyzing consumer behaviour to price rooms and maximize revenue growth. Through this role, I maintained guest relations with repeat accounts and companies to ensure guest satisfaction. Additionally, I consulted in the sale of accounts between business to business and business to consumer transactions. Overall, this role made me incredibly multi-faceted.

This was a special role that allowed me to work at a world-renowned art competition. I had never worked an event of this scale before. During the competition, I helped market and promote events happening during ArtPrize to increase voting and foot traffic. I also had to assist guests with technology and directions. This event only lasts for two months.

This was my first sales and human resource experience. During this role, I assisted in the training of new employees for the store. I also kept various book-keeping practices, in which I tracked expenses and helped with ordering. I also used creativity to design various social media campaigns and display new products.
