• Promoted into this role to design and implement best practise frameworks, insights and automation for Spark’s Value Management Tribe specialising in procurement
• Developed, implemented and delivered Spark’s spend cube capability which has mapped $14B worth of vendor spend using machine learning allowing for valuable insights into opportunity management and supporting our cost.
• Implemented Dynamics 365 from a P2P perspective covering purchasing, product catalogues, capital projects and product management framework
• This function was restructured into a business partner role still performing these functions for the business along with picking up further responsibilities as noted above

• Promoted into this role to be the Spark lead out into the industry, provide advocacy for customers and collaboratively work with the New Zealand government, competitors and suppliers. This was a role I am still so.
• Leading the Spark relationships, performance management, service improvement plans and commercial contracts with Spark’s major fibre providers
• Proposed, co-designed and negotiated the current UFB service levels with the government, fibre suppliers and other competing retail providers. This took three years of perseverance and determination, managing some.
• Proposed, consulted and negotiated fibre standards across the industry with other retail providers and fibre providers. This has now been codified and is known as the Fibre Installation Code for New Zealand
• Represented Spark in industry and product forums and lead collaboration and alignment across the retail service providers (RSP’s) across the broadband industry
• Supported our Spark Broadband Product Tribe, attending agile sprints, advocating for and co-designing customers’ experience and NPS measures

• Bought into this role to leverage my strong relationship with and understanding of Chorus and within the enterprise and consumer business and fibre technology to work with the industry to onboard UFB and create fit for.
• Ensuring Spark’s business capability supported their broadband and voice product offerings and that supplier contracts were aligned, and any risks identified and managed or mitigated
• Worked collaboratively with product and technical teams to deliver customer focused outcomes
