I am a final year PhD Candidate research event attendees' perception of risk through a visual semiotic analysis. My passion is advocating for the event management research area through the skills I have gained as a postgraduate researcher the past three years. After spending my final year of my undergraduate degree frustrated at the dearth of literature available on the risk factors associated with the events sector, I persued a research masters, where I transferred to PhD October of 2021. My experience as a PhD Candidate has allowed me to lecture undergraduate students in the Technological University of the Shannon where I have delivered modules namely: Research and Information Technology, Media, Human Resource Management and Marketing Principles. I also assist students in the TUS Learning Support Unit where my areas of expertise include: academic writing, thesis, event management, tourism, media, marketing and business modules.I look forward to connecting with you here on Linkedin.
