I have been teaching and coaching teachers for over a decade. I constantly seek ways to provide more effective feedback on the growth and progress of both my students and the teachers I coach. In my practice, I pride myself on my ability to adapt to the needs of those I am working with so that I may have a lasting impact on their development as learners. One of the most important lessons that I have learned is that I must be empathetic and responsive to both their challenges and successes. I apply my skills as an educator in my work as a coach. My instructional coaching strategies are personalized for each teacher and every workshop that I deliver is engaging, hands-on, interactive, and relevant.I am also passionate about writing. I love to share teaching strategies, inspiring stories about students, and innovative approaches. I have written dozens of blog posts for a variety of outlets, including Edutopia. Writing allows me the chance to be reflective about my own practice and help other teachers improve their practice. I recently published my first book, "Creating Curious Classrooms."
