I started my business in 2018, after being made redundant from a local college, where I was teaching health and safety and all areas of first aid, basic life support programs and paediatric care. I now run a business that supports a range of accredited and non-accredited training, as well as the installations of defibrillators for local charities, businesses, and the community. My mantra is 'Doing something is better than doing nothing'. This is such a true statement, especially in a medical emergency, when people feel they wouldn't be able to support a life threatening situation on their own.

Through government funding I am able to offer FREE introductory courses in First Aid and Paediatric First Aid at local libraries across the Hampshire area. These courses are designed to be fun, interactive and a safe place to learn life saving skills, as well as making new friends. We explore the world of CPR and get hands on with defibrillators, as well as practising on manikins for emergency situations like choking in infants, children and adults. These courses are built to empower people to not only step forward in a medical emergency, but feel confident with the right set of skills to make a difference.

I started teaching First Aid for the British Red Cross in 2015. This is a diverse role which takes me to many difference organisations and charities who are in need of basic life support programmes. Not everyone has the opportunity to learn about basic life support, so running these courses is a positive way to encourage the community to support each other as well as being able to confidently save a life.
