I'm an ambitious student in the College of Education at the University of North Texas. After my schooling, I aim to obtain an ESL elementary teaching position that will allow me to ensure equitable education for all students through the prioritization of cultural, linguistic, and emotional inclusion. I have built skills in relationship building, and empathy from my experience as a student mentor in Leander ISD. As well as grown my teaching, communication, and adaptability skills by tutoring students through the Bilingual Homework Hotline for Denton ISD. I'm a collaborator, critical thinker, and creative problem solver. I aim to make empathy and inclusion a main focus in the spheres I inhabit and am deeply passionate about making a difference in my student's lives.

  For over two years I have worked Part-Time as a food service worker at Torchy's Tacos. I have worked at three different locations and have developed a variety of skills along the way. I've learned how to engage in positive customer interaction, collaborate with my peers, and build meaningful relationships with management figures. Working in the food industry has allowed me to support my schooling. I have a strong work ethic and stay determined to make sure the restaurant environment is positive and supportive.
