I left Oracle Corporation to stay at home with my children. Finding myself needing to do more, I also:- Completed a Diploma of Higher Education in Postnatal Facilitation with the NCT charity and ran Early Days Courses in Surrey; discussion groups for new mothers to support them in the transition to new parenthood.- Qualified as an Infant Massage Instructor, and ran baby massage classes for a Children Centre and privately.- Volunteered on my local NCT Committee (for 9 years), holding down various roles from membership coordinator to toddler group lead contact to branch chair.

When the CRM suite of applications was introduced internally at Oracle Australia and I was employed as the support person internally. Essentially, I provided support for Asia Pacific on all Oracle CRM products, that Oracle used internally as beta product prior to releasing to the market. As the only employee in this group in the APAC region I became familiar with all CRM applications and within 12 months I was offered relocation to the UK to become part of a bigger group, as functional support manager for Europe.

My biggest clients were the Australian Youth Hostel Association, providing them with an online reservation and booking system, and Australian Posters, providing them with a system to book billboard advertising ensuring continuous coverage, and no conflict with products advertising in the same area.
