My career background is as a qualified management accountant, working in the Insurance, Health and Veterinary industries over a period of 16 years. During my accountancy career, I realised it wasn’t the accounts side of my role that I was passionate about, I much preferred looking after my colleagues wellbeing and finding out more about their life journey so far and where they were heading next. I loved seeing my team members thrive and achieve and would support whatever route they were moving towards; some were destined to travel, others to stay within accounting and a fair few to alternative career paths.Reflecting on this aspect of my career path pushed me to qualify as a life coach and finally pursue a career I was wholly passionate about.During 2023, I became a parent for the first time and navigated the transition from a full time career to full time motherhood. This changed my coaching specialism to mums in their first year. This isn't an area of coaching I have only read, it is something I have lived and breathed.My mission is for mothers in their first year of parenthood to transition into motherhood prepared and ready to thrive. I want to guide you to transform anxiety of maternity leave and those newborn days to a balanced and fulfilled maternity leave and beyond. I am determined for mums to know that their needs, passion and dreams are still important. You don’t need to wait until…. Until the finances are right, until you have time, until the children are older, until you’ve achieved x, y and z. You can start in this moment here because you matter, life is short and I feel it is always better to live having explored the “what if” than be constantly wondering about it. I want to guide you on this path to rediscovering you, to cheerlead you, to hold you accountable and to support you in taking every step towards embracing this new chapter of life and still be achieving your life dreams.
