Working for an award-winning independent HR consultancy based in Romsey, Hampshire, I provide expert HR and training services to numerous clients, ranging from tiny SMEs to household names. My priority is to provide a comprehensive service in all areas of HR tailored to individual client's needs. I also deliver training courses and am qualified to administer of psychometric testing to facilitate effective recruitment and for existing team development.

Dedicated schools HR caseworker, I successfully managed a diverse employee relations caseload engaging with headteachers, managers and governors. I also undertook regular helpdesk sessions where I was the first point of contact acting as a triage for inquiries and providing initial advice. I was keen to forge strong working relationships with school managers as well as cross functionality within HCC (Legal, Finance and OH), to facilitate desired outcomes. A fundamental part of this role was around managing risk to customers when exploring solutions for a situation. I had regular interactions with trade union officials relating to specific ER cases and also organisation change programs. Additionally, I acted as conduit in ACAS conciliation and was responsible for effecting settlement agreements from Without Prejudice conversation stage to agreement finalisation.

On return from maternity leave I undertook roles as HR Administrator and HR Officer based in Andover and supporting multiple sites and functions across the south of England. My key responsibilities included implementing restructuring plans across the business, providing administrative support to HR team (issue of contracts, processing new starters, producing HR reports), advising line managers in ER issues and training on HR systems, facilitating disciplinary and appeal hearings, Involvement in selection events.

Employed by an international office solutions organisation, as primary HR contact responsible for three sites in the south of England across several business functions.I established, developed and maintained effective working relationships with line managers who previously had received no support from HR. I provided detailed advice on employment law issues and implications when dealing with disciplinary, grievance and other employee relations matters.I organised and produced relevant and timely recruitment practices to ensure effective selection and induction of new employees in wide wide range of roles. I was also instrumental in promoting and actively implementing effective communication methods to inform internal and external customers, maintaining the professional image of HR. I worked with managers to identify, plan and implement training programmes for associates at all levels.Strategically, I was actively involved in various HR projects to facilitate development within OD to ensure effectiveness and competitiveness of the organisation.I was responsible for monthly reporting on sickness, turnover, headcount, retention and performance issues.

My key responsibilities were to co-ordinate and implement recruitment, selection and induction process for all functions at a large distribution centre. As part of a small team, I played a pivotal role in providing advice and support to line managers in investigation of ER issues. I also provided advice around managing long term sickness via home visits, Occupational Health involvement and vocational rehabilitation plans.
