I am a professionally qualified Social Worker with experience in child protection services, child and adolescent mental health and community work. I am currently employed as a Student Welfare Officer | Occupational Social Worker at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. I work closely with health science university students by helping them to overcome challenges that impact on their studies, develop and deliver intervention strategies and manage projects that promote wellness across campus. My professional interests include lifestyle medicine, learning and development, positive health and the contribution of the arts to health and wellbeing.I have a strong enthusiasm for my other creative endeavors, which include experimental dance, visual art, and creative writing. I've worked with the Soto Dance Company in Ireland and was formerly a member of Dublin Youth Dance Company. In order to create a multifaceted, socially engaged art practice, I am working to merge my social work skills with my creative abilities as a multidisciplinary leader.
