Although my passion has always been for animals, I have been able to adapt to the various opportunities that come my way. Through working in Therapeutic Horsemanship, I have learned that community and relationships are crucial. While working for Play Dog Play, I trained new employees and dogs which helped me grow as a leader. It has not always been about animals though... I have spent time volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and while traveling to Kenya and Romania my love for service work flourished. I created a fundraiser to rebuild the Reteti Primary School in Nanyuki, Kenya, where the girls were gifted with shoes, desks, school supplies, and new roofing for their school that had been ruined in storms. I have been fortunate enough to travel to 20 countries throughout my life. Through seeing and living in different countries I have a deep appreciation for diversity. I embrace the many cultures in my day to day life and I am quick to learn and eager to jump into new experiences. My interest in marketing sprouted throughout my university and professional experiences. As I helped create a brand for Wind Ridge Fjords and Friends I gained hands on experiences to create logos and tag lines and explore promotional techniques. I have created marketing plans for a business that I created which also allowed me to understand the many steps it takes to market a business.
