In my HR Leadership role lining directly into the UK People Director, I co-create the people strategies with my key stakeholders the Exec Directors, aligned to their functional and wider business strategies. I have extensive experience in the following areas: OD/restructures, Employee Relations, Talent and Succession planning, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement and Wellbeing - with my focus being on working collaboratively with my Execs and their Leaderships teams to drive their business areas forward effectively through the people strategies. I also lead on the annual Salary Review and Performance Evaluation projects from a People perspective.
Human Resources Business Partner
When I was promoted to HR Business Partner, I was assigned specific business areas alongside another HR Business Partner and reported into an HR Manager who reported into the HR Director. The role became much more interesting than my previous HR Advisor role as I had the opportunity to work collaboratively the key stakeholders in my business areas and analyse trends such as attrition, absence, performance etc. I still had the generalist remit but had the opportunity to really add value. My remit consisted of Employee Relations, Absence/Capability Management, Redundancy/Restructures, Employee Engagement, Reward and Recognition and supported the annual Salary Review and Performance Evaluation projects.

I joined Lowell as an experienced HR Advisor to broaden my generalist skills in a different industry. I was one of three HR Advisors lining directly into the Head of HR so had lots of autonomy and the opportunity for development. I specialised in Employee Relations, Recruitment, Training, Redundancies, Job Evaluation and the annual Salary Review and Performance Evaluation projects. I also worked collaboratively with Comms team on engagement initiatives including an Ideas scheme, Employee of the month and Annual Award schemes.
