Helping people has always been something I am passionate about, and is something I want to carry with me into my professional career. I am very driven in my work and am enthusiastic about the projects I commit myself to. Staying organized and quick to communicate are skills I pride myself on, and consider essential in my day-to-day life. As someone experienced in the retail industry with over 4 years of experience at Target, I am easily adaptable to changes and am always prepared to problem solve when issues arise. Currently, I am a junior at Gustavus Adolphus College on track to graduate a semester early with a BA in Management and a minor in Public Health. In my time at Gustavus I have taken on many premiere leadership roles and opportunities. Starting in the second semester of my freshman year I took on the role as one of five conference directors for Gustavus Women in Leadership's 11th biennial conference. I served as the Speaker and Technology coordinator, and worked closely to communicate with all speakers to gather and organize all relevant information. Additionally, I am one of the executives on the Campus Activities Board and have been in two different roles over the last 2 years. Both the Arts and Entertainment executive and Traditions co-executive roles have given me tremendous opportunities to plan numerous events for campus life and provided me with many skills for my future professional career. In my role as one of the Traditions co-executives this past year, I earned the high honor of being awarded the Paul Magnuson Service and Leadership award. This is an award this is given to a select few individuals each year. My co-executive and I were recognized this year for spearheading and bringing back to life Gustavus' annual President's Ball, which was absent from campus life for the last 4 years. It was truly an honor to receive such a distinguished award as a sophomore starting their journey in leadership and project management.
