Senior Research Associate
CurrentI seek to ensure all students have equitable access to a high quality education, in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment so they may develop as constructive contributors to society. To accomplish this goal, I use innovative and theory-driven research design, advanced quantitative analysis, and rich and collaborative partnerships to provide technical assistance for local and state education agency programs and policies. My work covers a range of topics including: social-emotional learning, educator preparation and educator effectiveness, mathematics and science education (curriculum and partnership development). In 2015, I attended the Cluster Randomized Trial institute through the Institute of Education Sciences (IES), and as of 2017 I am a certified reviewer for the IES What Works Clearinghouse. My responsibilities include business development, project leadership, project conceptualization, evaluation design, oversight and collection of data, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and development and dissemination of reports in multiple formats (including technical guides, brief reports, formative reports, summative reports, webinars, and presentations).
