I seek to ensure all students have equitable access to a high quality education, in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment so they may develop as constructive contributors to society. To accomplish this goal, I use innovative and theory-driven research design, advanced quantitative analysis, and rich and collaborative partnerships to provide technical assistance for local and state education agency programs and policies. My work covers a range of topics including: social-emotional learning, educator preparation and educator effectiveness, mathematics and science education (curriculum and partnership development). In 2015, I attended the Cluster Randomized Trial institute through the Institute of Education Sciences (IES), and as of 2017 I am a certified reviewer for the IES What Works Clearinghouse. My responsibilities include business development, project leadership, project conceptualization, evaluation design, oversight and collection of data, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and development and dissemination of reports in multiple formats (including technical guides, brief reports, formative reports, summative reports, webinars, and presentations).

My work employed Hierarchical Linear Modeling with Latent Class Analysis to evaluate the effect of peer, parent, and sibling relationships on adolescent outcomes in a project through the University of Denver. I also employed moderated mediational structural equation models and the use of propensity scores to account for non-random assignment, on a project examining gender differences in risk factors and mechanisms of offending behavior among justice-system involved adolescents. I used multi-group trajectory modeling to examine the effect of pre-natal hormones and maternal characteristics on cognitive and psycho-social development from infancy through adolescence. As a statistical consultant, I utilized Hierarchical Linear Modeling to examine the effects of school and community supports on dichotomous youth outcomes.
