As the Development Associate at Church Health, I support Church Health’s ability to engage our individual donors and sponsors to fulfill our mission. I work alongside the Development Operation’s Coordinator and the rest of the Development team in the management and execution of all development related activities, with a specific focus on day-to-day database management and gift acknowledgements.

I am happy to announce that after graduation, I accepted a position with Youth Villages as a Behavioral Youth Counselor (or Teacher Counselor, as well call it in the center). I am currently working at a secure Residential Treatment Facility with at risk adolescents. These youth have come from all walks of life, and they have witnessed and experienced traumas that many of us are unable to comprehend. my role as a TC is to utilize creativity and therapeutic counseling skills to built rapport with the youth, in such a way that I can teach the youth necessary life skills, participate in the design and implementation of their treatment plans, and provide for their daily physical care In addition to this, I complete regular documentation and participate in supplementary training. I am beyond humbled to go through this journey with these youth, learning and growing every day that I walk into the Rose Center with my girls.

I had such a phenomenal experience working alongside the Jewish Community Partners of Memphis Marketing Team. I was able to build upon my education and previous Marketing and Development experiences. Out of the projects I worked on with the JCP Marketing Team, I was most excited about assisting with a website revamp for the JCP. I created a spiderweb template of the JCP website, looking for any necessary edits or updates for aesthetics and/or utility.
