I am majoring in Equine Business with a minor in Marketing and hoping to pursue a career in the equine industry after college with a side of marketing or strategic planning in the sport horse side of the equine world. I am especially interested in coordinating events such as horse shows or fundraising events. I currently work at Stone Place Stables in Prospect, Ky as a lesson program employee; I help clients tack/untack their horses, help care for approximately fifteen lesson horses, and help lead our summer camps. I was a part of the University of Louisville Hunt Seat Equestrian team for 3 years, one year as Fundraising Chair which included organizing fundraising events and horse shows to fundraise money for our team, and as Vice President which includes coordinating team events, coordinating our home horse show and coordinating and overseeing items needed for the shows, preparation of transporting horses to and from shows, and caring for the horses at shows.I am a dedicated and hard-working student, who is eager to learn more about the horse world while giving a substantial amount of effort to anything I accomplish.
