I am a vocal coach, musical director and singer and have my own company Vocal Coach London. This year I was awarded Performing Arts Vocal Coach of the Year 2024 by SME News. As a performer I have appeared in theatre, commercials, musical theatre, cabaret and gigs. My credits as a vocalist include recordings of many new musicals, commercial session work and jazz/soul gigs at numerous venues - these include The Globe Theatre, The Dorchester Hotel, Pizza Express, Riverfront Jazz Festival, Jazz On The Line and many others in the UK and as far as Ethiopia.As a cabaret artist I have co-written, produced and performed the sell-out "Venus, Mars & Chocolate Cake" at the Edinburgh Festival, "Little Show of Joy" at the Pheasantry, Lauderdale House Cabaret season and more recently my one-woman comedy show "Life on the Edge" at Baron's Court Theatre and Toulouse Lautrec.As a vocal coach I have taught at various drama schools including Mountview, London School of Musical Theatre, Central School of Speech and Drama, Birds College, London Studio Centre, Italia Conti and The National Theatre and have run singing and musical theatre workshops in the UK and Europe. I am currently singing teacher at The Bridge Training Theatre Company, visiting repetiteur at London School of Musical Theatre and run my own private practice.My coaching practice offers vocal technique through to audition preparation, together with my online course Vocal Confidence.I am also a qualified Vocal Health First Aider and I have spoken at Becoming Biopsychosocial Conference 2022 and VASTA Conference 2023. As an accompanist I am an excellent sight reader and play for auditions and rehearsals.
