While a PhD student, I am pursuing research in mathematical foundations of intelligence at the intersection of machine learning, statistical physics, and computational neuroscience.Previously, I completed the MSc in Machine Learning at UCL, during which I explored the phenomenon of catastrophic forgetting in reinforcement learning with the Saxe Lab in the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit. My undergraduate studies were in Mathematics, Systems Engineering, and Applied Math at the University of Virginia. In addition to my academic studies, I have learned tremendously from my teaching experiences and work in public service.
