Responsible for full life cycle project management of L&D projects for up to 8000+ UK staff across the Insurance division. Involved initial scoping through to SME engagement, design, compliance, delivery and evaluation. Managed several projects concurrently. Key projects:E-TradingProject managed design and delivery of a suite of face to face training to support 100 commercial insurance underwriting staff through business restructure including new IT trading system and new/amended insurance products. Partnered with system supplier, underwriting SMEs, business process SMEs and insurance product owners to successfully create and deliver a three step system and product training initiative.Anti-Money Laundering (AML)Project managed design and delivery of scenario based e-learning module to upskill 8000 UK Sales and Claims insurance staff to recognise indicators of potential money laundering activity. Partnered with Risk SMEs and Sales and Claims SMEs to define and agree content. Co-ordinated regional Risk SMEs and external translation supplier to create and roll out paper based version of the training to c.100 staff in Italy and Germany.Organisational Risk Model:Project managed design and delivery of virtual classroom training to c.300 managerial sales staff to support roll out of new organisational risk model. Co-ordinated Learning Designer and Risk SMEs to define and agree content. Upskilled the trainer on Genesys delivery technology and virtual classroom best practice.Risk Capability Development:Managed a project to define and create a curriculum for the Risk AML and Sanctions team of c.30 staff. Co-ordinated a team including Capability Development consultants, HR Business Partner and Risk SMEs to create a learning pathway including professional qualifications, membership of professional bodies, networking and social learning opportunities, internal learning items, external training suppliers and competence mapping.

The role covered initial analysis to delivery and evaluation of projects. Key Projects Technology Services InductionCreated new online, modular induction/orientation to replace 2 day classroom sessions and separate local sessions. Removed duplication of effort across the division and drove greater consistency of new joiner experience, produced quality support for line managers and new joiners resulting in less time away from their role. Ensured consistency with organisational initiatives by building relationships with stakeholders in other areas of RBS Group.Cultural Awareness Toolkit: Produced a Cultural Awareness online toolkit for staff working in globally dispersed teams, including e-learning curriculum, mentoring pool and support pack. Conceived the toolkit as an innovative, no cost solution when original budget for the project was put on hold. Significantly increased usage of the e-learning items in the curriculum, improving return on investment on e-learning spend. E-Learning Strategy: Conceived and secured buy in to increase return on investment on e-learning spend. Revised content by updating current curricula and creating a competency based curriculum. Designed and delivered remote training (via Web-Ex) for the e-learning system across a global division and created online support pages.
