Assistant General ManagerStrada Dec 2012 - PresentI currently work in Strada restaurant in Exeter, which is part of Tragus Group ltd. Here I work closely with the general manager to ensure the successful running and turnover of the business. I receieved six weeks training in the Cardiff restaurant, in which I trained for a week as a front of house member and a week in the kitchen and then four weeks spent on management training. I am now competent with compiling weekly flash reports for the business, stock ordering and control and shared responsibility for monthly P&Ls. I have had experience in both MRS and CMI audits and EHO compliances. On a day to day basis I provide exceptional customer service and ensure the running of both the front and back of house are in sync.

Store ManagerAbercrombie & Fitch Jun 2011 - Dec 2012I joned Abercrombie and Fitch on a graduate managers scheme at the Hollister store in Cardiff, during which time I was trained within areas of HR, loss prevention, recruitment, store operations and brand senses. After completion of the ten week programme I was promoted to Assistant manager. During my time in this role I had shared responsibility for the day to day running of the store. Responsibilities included the financial well-being of the store via the analysis of business trends and previous sales performances, consequently managing the payroll budget and driving business through floor supervision. There was a strong emphasis upon creating and maintaining a high energy atmosphere within the store by effectively engaging associates and managing the flow of the business. Eight months later I was promoted to Store manager and relocated to Exeter to open a new Hollister store. I spent two months recruiting for the store and training up two people who had just entered the graduate scheme. Following the opening of the store I was accountable for the four assistant managers and roughly a hundred part time staff. -
