Emma is a Regeneration Specialist currently working for Swansea Council and Cardiff University. She leads the development of Placemaking Plans for Swansea’s nine District Centres, on behalf of the Local Authority. At Cardiff University, Emma co-leads a Masters design unit that focuses on identifying new, low carbon sustainable futures for post-industrial heritage sites in Wales. Previous regeneration experience includes, but is not limited to, the management of large-scale multidisciplinary teams, securing funding for large-scale capital projects from a variety of sources including Welsh Government and the National Lottery Heritage Fund and leading the delivery of Local Authority engagement programmes. Specialising in stakeholder management, Emma works proactivity, in a creative and collaborative manner, to deliver regeneration initiatives utilising her first-class architectural and planning background.
