Benefits of this system include carbon sequestration, ecosystem restoration, and local food security. Developed technical documentation, tracked budgets and timelines, and procured supplies, leveraging international team collaboration.

Monitored the Climate and Acidification Ocean Simulation system to mimic conditions for experimental corals at future-predicted pH levels to determine “super corals” which exhibit resiliency. Extracted daily data on water quality and coral physiology using various lab equipment. Analyzed data and created visualizations using R software and Microsoft Excel. Also led an interactive ocean chemistry education event for Mote’s outreach program.
