The role of keyholder and sales associate holds the responsibility of both opening and closing the store, completing transactions, acting as sales lead, and maintaining customer satisfaction. I have learned great responsibility and problem-solving skills with this role, and am proud to have worked for such a unique and diverse business.

This internship was mainly remote due to the COVID-19 Pandemic; however, my duties included creating digital outreach/marketing material, supporting the planning and/or implementation of additional events, and aiding in group projects under project managers. Eventually the CDC did allow for minor outdoor work with PPE, which involved visiting trees (running from Imperial Beach to Oceanside), verifying correct locations on a virtual map, updating photos, reporting dead trees & damaged stakes, and labeling stakes with ID numbers.
