With 13 years of experience in referral medicine in both the UK and Australia, Emma has rotated through various specialties including internal medicine, oncology, surgery, and emergency and critical care. Emma's dual registration with both the RCVS and VNCA highlights her commitment to professional development and excellence in veterinary nursing.Emma is RECOVER CPR certified, and has a post graduate certificate in Anaesthesia and in Emergency and Critical Care. Emma is currently studying towards her Cert TAE.In early 2024 Emma presented at the VNCA conference for the first time, and received the award for 'best case study presentation'. This case study was later published in the Veterinary nursing journal. Since then Emma has spoken at the Vet Expo conference in Sydney.As a training coordinator, Emma plays a crucial role in educating and supporting fellow nurses, particularly in anaesthesia and critical care. Emma has a keen interest in pain management and nursing critical care patients.Emma have been lucky enough to volunteer as a veterinary nurse in Botswana multiple times, in Vietnam and for pets in the park.
