Work both independently and on a team to interview and assist in the onboarding of employees for the UPS North and Northeast Portland Hubs. Actively worked on the recruiting team to increase flow of job applications. Additional tasks include completing unemployment claims, assisting with NCNS, exit interviews, I-9, interview training, etc.

Responsibilities include: (1) tracking of FMLA, OFLA, WA-FLA, Personal, Bereavement, & COVID-19 leave (2) file maintenance & weekly/monthly reporting using ADP Workforce Now & iCims (3) reconcile monthly credit card statement (4) set up performance review on ADP Performance Management (5)process workers compensation claims (6) respond to unemployment benefit requests and employment verifications (7) complete onboarding and run I-9 documentation through E-Verify (8) assist in EEO-1, OSHA, government compliance, etc. (9) document employee investigations conducted by HR manager (10) conduct payroll audits and employee document audits (11) manage HR online question desk/fax (12) enroll new hires in benefits and assist with open enrollment

Responsibilities include: (1) recruit prospective employees for driver helper and package handlingpositions (2) present job descriptions to large groups of job candidates (3) interview candidateswhile reviewing applications, creating applicable interview questions, putting the job candidateat ease, and processing their application using the UPS Automated Employment database (4)process I-9 documents (5) assist candidates with W-4, direct deposit, religious accommodations, etc.

Responsibilities include: (1) provide a safe & clean environment for children ages 1 to 10+ (2) assistpreschool aged children in handwriting, basic hygiene, and development of positive social skills(3) help measure the learning progress of children between the ages of two and five years old
