I joined Castle in August 2021 as a Talent Coordinator and progressed into a Delivery Consultant position. Supporting the division in their attraction of the top educational talent in the region to match our local schools. I am a BA Hons Public Health and Community Studies Graduate with a creative and professional work manner, providing a unique experience for colleagues, candidates, and clients. We get to share experiences and best practices to ensure we are acting in the best interests of our candidates and clients with integrity and pride.Here is what I do at Castle Education;At a time when candidates are in very short supply and there are huge levels of sickness absence, Castle Education are busier than ever placing supply teachers and recruiting permanent staff. We already work with more than 60 education providers and are constantly growing the number of organisations we work with across primary, SEN, secondary, and further and higher education throughout North and East Yorkshire. We provide an early morning service for those in need of supply teachers and are also working with more partners to recruit permanent staff into senior roles like headteachers and assistant headteachers. Our team have more than 35 years of experience in education and education recruitment, including careers in teaching and quality management. Having children attending local schools, we are extremely invested in ensuring only highly capable teachers and assistants are placed with you. Our commitment to supporting Yorkshire’s schools, colleges and universities extends to trying to help solve the issues facing the sector. ECTs without classroom time don’t meet our high standards for placement so we are helping them gain this by placing them as teaching assistants. Our team also has experience working as school governors, bringing our knowledge of the sector to the table.Further to this, we provide experienced invigilators who are trained in JCQ guidelines in schools, as well as providing literacy packs for schools which include books, learning packs, and stationery. We also provide teachers with 1-2-1 catch-up tuition for pupils who have fallen behind.We are experienced, we are invested and we are committed to providing the best teaching staff for the benefit of pupils and students throughout Yorkshire.
