Co-leads a team of 12 Club Support Managers to provide high quality support to 1500 member clubs and their respective volunteer workforce. I work as part of a Club Support Managers team responsible for developing and delivering a program of support that sustains and increases participation and performance levels across the Sport. This also includes expanding the capacity of the sport by supporting and developing volunteers, officials and coaches. I provided high quality support for clubs in the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions by:- Supporting clubs to access EA key services, programmes and resources- Working with clubs to share good practice through delivery of forums, webinars and connecting clubs.- Providing training opportunities- Bespoke support offered to ‘focus clubs’ on matters ranging from business planning and volunteer recruitment and retention, to coach development, facility planning and club-community networking- Supporting clubs and facility operators with track maintenance and development opportunities including asset transfer- Lead Manager for Club Communication Strategy, working across all EA departments to influence a communications plan for members clubs, coaches, officials and athletes.

Supporting Sheffield City Council with the 100k capital investment from England Athletics to increase running participation across the City through the installation of fixed running routes across the city: 1. Initial guidance provided on funding application 2. Representing England Athletics on 'The Outdoor City Run Route' Project Team to monitoring progress and to ensure project outcomes are met3. Advice and guidance regarding installation, design, marketing, comms and monitoring. 4. Lead for activation of the routes including community engagement, partnership working to set new groups up, training of volunteers as Run Leaders, linking with local event providers and support of a running comms plan (ongoing)

Professionally support England Athletics Affiliated clubs and coaches in South Yorkshire & the Humber including working alongside the Regional Council, County Athletics Associations and local Athletics Groups.Lead the development and supported delivery of two Athletics Networks: South Yorkshire AN and Humber AN. I provided guidance, ideas and practical support, particularly around induction programmes, welfare, policies, procedures, coaching structure and to ensure compliance with funding agreements. I monitored both network budgets which was collectively £120kProvide bespoke support to England Athletics affiliated clubs (or local groups such as Sheffield Athletics) including guidance and advice on facilities, club development plans, policies and procedures, clubmark, athlete and coaching pathways, satellite clubs and school club links. Previous Lead Officer for Coaching in the North of England (2009 – 2011) and lead officer for South Yorkshire to provide high quality and direct support to coaches including 1:1 sessions, local events, workshops and conferences. Coordinate mentoring relationships and development work between relevant event specific coach mentors and individual coaches.Lead Officer for Recreational Running in the North of England which involves working on the national project team to develop RunTogether (England Athletics new recreational running product). Working locally in South Yorkshire to support key partners such as County Sport Partnerships Universities, Colleges, Schools, Workplaces, Health sector, Community Groups, Outdoor Sector (National Trust, Parks & Woodlands) Event Organisers (Nova, parkrun, County Associations) to develop a running culture.

Devise, develop and deliver appropriate training for the volunteers.
