I have worked in the Scottish heritage sector for over 25 years, building knowledge of Scottish social, economic and design history. I have a particular interest in historic textiles and wallpaper and enjoy researching the history of people and places to bring new stories to light. I have previously held curatorial roles in independent, local authority and regimental museums, as well as strategic roles with Museums Galleries Scotland and as a freelance consultant with CMC Associates. As Regional Curator with the National Trust for Scotland I have delivered a range of projects including exhibitions, gallery redevelopments and interior restorations, as well as pursuing collections research. With strong organisational and communication skills I am a great team player as well as a project leader, and enjoy working with a wide range of people to develop inspiring heritage experiences.
