My role at Crayon began with assisting in the launch of the NZ Parental Leave Register. I read and synthesised parental leave policies to present this in a user-friendly way with my team. My work involves experience dealing with policy and finance. This has allowed me to understand how government parental leave support works and how policy affects people socially and financially. My work has also involved drafting OIA requests to government agencies, analysing data, website editing, SEO and meta-data optimisation.

I work within the events and communications team at my university to assist them with the running and set up of events on campus, graduations and conduct campus tours for incoming students.

I work within the Christchurch office, providing administrative support to staff. I provide administrative support to staff and clients. My responsibilities include working on reception, greeting clients, coordinating meeting bookings, booking travel, drawing up letters of engagement, performing conflict checks and other general jobs to support the running of the office. This role has taught me professionalism and given me insight into the legal system.

I worked closely with solicitors to provide support with admin work. This role involves printing/scanning jobs, welcoming clients into the firm, booking travel/restaurants, organising receptions and meeting rooms, and other general jobs to support the running of the office and its staff.

I worked as an office assistant, culling and organising files, helping photocopying/binding files, drawing up non-legal documents and answering phones.
