As a Marketing Specialist, I am in charge of all local marketing strategies to help bring our company together with the Orange County tech community. I manage our local brand through social media and Tech in Motion events, implement ways to increase sales and recruiter engagement, and contribute to national marketing campaigns and projects.

Tech in Motion is a national event series built with the goal of bringing tech communities together. Each event features a thoughtful discussion on the hottest topics in technology where like-minded technologists can come, network, and learn. I plan, execute, and host quarterly events for Tech in Motion and the Timmy Awards, our annual tech award ceremony.

My primary responsibilities involved managing a national, 10-week internship program that focuses on marketing, fundraising and event planning. In 2017 alone I remotely managed 200+ interns and fundraised $60,000+. I was responsible for advertising, recruiting, and hiring for the program. I guided each intern through a successful internship providing problem solving and marketing/event advice.This position also included managing a rotating team of 8-10 in-office interns each semester.My secondary responsibilities included coordinating local volunteer events in our HQ. I planned events for between 50-100 local volunteers in order to effectively engage and build a local base of volunteers to market our programs.
