• Initiated, organized, tracked and proofread ministerial correspondence addressed to the Assistant Deputy Minister, the Deputy Minister or the Minister. Assisted the DG with scheduling and meeting preparation.• Took initiative on a sub-committee discussing executive correspondence by assisting in creating a Standards of Practice manual for the entire Sector. • Additionally participated in, and added input to, the NRCan Persons with Disabilities Network.

• Provided community services to assess and identify client specific difficulties and goals after motor vehicle accidents. • Effectively aided in hospital discharge planning, the recommendation of assistive devices, and occupational therapy home safety assessments.• Created cost effective treatment plans, and comprehensive, objective reports to auto insurance companies. Communicated findings and recommendations to insurance adjusters and family members.

• Collaborated with statistical informants on the current state of children living with disabilities worldwide, with greater focus on low and middle-income countries. Executed strong analysis and critical thinking skills while supporting three ongoing projects that aimed to quantify the number of children living with disabilities worldwide. • Demonstrated strong self-direction skills as work was completed by correspondence to New York City. • Took initiative in creating this Role-Emerging placement through the University of Toronto Occupational Therapy program.
