After graduating from college top of my class with a degree in electrical engineering, I obtained a position as a software engineer in the Image Processing department at Harris Corporation. In this position, I process large amounts of data and identified man-made targets underneath a forest canopy in real time and helped to develop an underwater robotic arm that could attach to an AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle) and autonomously find and retrieve objects. I aided the underwater robotic arm project by combining real time data from several different sensor types and using the result to identify objects.I then worked at O'Meara Consulting by applying my mathematical background to develop geostat algorithms and learning a C# foundation to create graphical user interfaces with a Model, View, ViewModel pattern (MVVM).After a year, unfortunately, this start up company hit a snag when the price of oil dropped and all non family personnel where let go. I then continued on to Everi where I worked as a game developer. I used Javascript to combine math data with art assets to create a playable slot machine game. After my first year, I transitioned to a team lead position, and after my second year, I transitioned to the math team. I learned how to design slot machine games from the ground up and apply my design to a math model in excel.After three years at Everi, I obtained a new job at Kapsch as a team lead on the back office team. This position required me to work with programmers in Argentina to implement a web based GUI for customers and customer service representatives to use to set up accounts and monitor vehicles on toll roads. This application used SQL databases and a series of C# microservices in a REST API architecture to process transactions and maintain user accounts.After a year at Kapsch, my old boss from Everi informed me that he was starting up a small slot machine company called Junto.
