As Senior Communications Officer I am responsible for leading on the production of written material for the organisation, including press releases, marketing mail shots, articles, briefing notes, public statements, speeches, brochures, flyers and correspondence to member governments and industry.I also serve as deputy editor to the organisation's monthly magazine, e-Commonwealth; producing a six-month rolling plan, a monthly outline, researching, writing and sourcing articles for the magazine and proofing and editing the publication.I design and implement marketing communication plans to promote the organisation's public events, including arranging cross-marketing deals.I plan, develop and coordinate the organisation's social media presence as well as assisting in all aspects of press and media relations and writing articles for external publications.
