Supporting the Central Integrated Health Community across Conwy and Denbighshire, North Wales with operational and strategic planning for health care services covering Acute, Primary and Community Services. Undertaking a series of duties including leading on governance and accountability, representing the senior leadership in key organisational groups, including planning and development, emergency planning and civil contingencies.

Year 3 of intermediate care funding in North Wales has been expanded beyond older people to include lifespan learning disabilities, children with complex needs, and capital totalling £14m. Responsible for the regional programme management of integrated health and social care projects across North Wales, working across six local authorities, the health board and 3rd sector partners. Managing programme timelines and budgets, and responsible for reporting to Regional Board and Welsh Government. Developing strategic plans to link in with sustainability of services and commissioning across partners.

South Metropolitan Health Service is one of four Health services operating in Western Australia and is undergoing a significant period of expansion and reconfiguration. SMHS employs 15,000 staff (WA Health 40,000).I manage and develop high risk Health contracts, from the planning and strategy phase, through to tendering and procurement and eventual management of the contract. Current contract portfolio includes life of contract values in excess of $300 million ($25-$30 million per annum). I have the lead contract responsibility for one clinical Statewide contract (i.e. manage on behalf of all Health Services) and one service Metro Wide contract (manage on behalf of three Health Services).I am experienced in the development of cross service MOUs and Service Level Agreements. I work on numerous projects which inform SMHS wide strategy and planning - to inform service development within existing plans and budgets, as well as anticipating service growth and development ensuring commercial viability and patient centred care.I have recently been nominated to attend a Emerging Leaders course for Health WA (Nominations can only come from a member of the Senior Health Executive Group and only 4 places are available to SMHS employees)

Peel and Rockingham Kwinana Mental Health Service (PaRK) is an award winning, progressive and innovative provider of government funded mental healths services within South Metropolitan Health Service, Department of Health WA.My role supported the Operations Manager and Clinical Director in the clinical planning, development and implementation of services and facilities for mental health programs and was heavily focused on service expansion, both in terms of the development of existing programs and the implementation of new. Projects included: $680,000 capital works redevelopment to convert a shop into a clinical office space; expansion of inpatient psychogeriatric services, expansion of community psychogeriatric services, service realignment and mapping to ensure a consistent model of care and costing was operated between mental health services with seamless transition between community and inpatient settings, with the focus on reducing hospital admissions by providing forward thinking interventions.

Responsible for ensuring the newly constructed mental health inpatient unit at Rockingham General Hospital was compliant to enable it to become an Authorised Unit. Initially managing the Building Defects Liability period on behalf of PaRK, managing variation works required to enable compliance under the Office of the Chief Psychiatrists Guidelines and the Mental Health Act 1996. Working closely with the Hospital Project Team and Facilities Management to coordinate works and budgets. Assisting in implementing change management strategies to ensure seamless integration with existing services in the Hospital, researching and writing policies and procedures. Forming relationships with NGOs and Not for Profit organisations to assist in implementing landscaping by way of horticultural therapy to find an innovative solution to no landscaping budget.
