I lead the direct investing team at Gratitude Railroad where I oversee due diligence, portfolio management and fund thesis development. I've led investments into some incredible companies and if you're a founder, I'd love to hear about what you're building. I invest at the seed / Series A level with an average first check of $1M into companies working on renewables and natural systems; health, education and wealth equity; food systems and climate justice. I started my career as a management consultant working with tech companies in the US and Asia, then pivoted into international development and non-profit leadership. As the Director of Grant Programs at Comic Relief, I managed a portfolio of $167 million in impact investments and launched a new $6 million innovation fund. I have two postgraduate degrees that speak to the two sides of my heart (impact & business), a Masters in Peace & Conflict Studies as a fully funded Ransome Scholar at the University of St. Andrews and an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas.
