I am a qualified teacher but became a philosophical teacher-educator after encountering philosophical enquiry over 20 years ago, facilitating dialogue ever since in my classrooms, schools, community and at home with my children.I work with young people and adults in schools and wider society, to enable them to discuss ideas that matter to them, to think and understand themselves better. In my role at SAPERE I develop bespoke training offers, exploring opportunities for P4C development and new partnerships. I'm also a Level 1 & 2 trainer and co-facilitated a Level 1 course for Princeton Philosophy graduates with Grace Lockrobin, SAPERE's Co-director. I lead the Consider P4C sessions as an entry point to the SAPERE training pathway and contribute to the free online network sessions. I'm also part of the P4C.com resource editorial team.I have worked with both primary and secondary teachers and recently worked as a secondary English Intervention Tutor, exploring philosophically rich concepts through a range of texts and creative writing stimuli.I have also written the philosophy section for a children's magazine for the last 5 years.I live in Hampshire with my husband and two children and find it hard to get a word in as we all like to talk!
