My first job I got was at 17, at my local fish and chip shop. It was through the middle of the first waves of covid lockdowns and the only way I got the job was printing my resume with no experience and walking around the shops hoping someone would hire me. I got hired there and progressed fast. I knew I had a passion for interacting and learning about the new and returning customers and just excelled with all my new jobs. I worked at the fish and chip shop for 7 months and had another job at Timezone in which was an easy transition to understand the workflow environment and use my skills from my old job to better me at my new job. I stayed there for four months until I got a job selling jewellery, I then had to learn all about the different stones, materials, and techniques that go into looking after the shop and our products while still being 18, I worked there for 10 months and want something new to expand my learning and experience. I love marketing and social media and would take photos of our products and promote them to help boost sales and attraction to our little store in Eastland. Now with the experience I have I’m ready to take my persistent attitude and work ethic somewhere else.
