Securing £945k from Scottish Government Regeneration Capital Grant and Robertsons Trust. Delivered in partnership with Forth Housing Association and STEP Scotland. Secured £1.2M service level agreement with Stirling Council to deliver a community based training and support pipeline for people facing challenges to securing mainstream training and employment.Full service reorganisation and associated funding strategy. Rebrand and launch of Stirling Community Enterprise delivering vocational training and support services at Stages 1 - 4 of the employability pipeline. Multiple external funds secured for partnership approaches including Scottish Government Employability Integration and Alignment Fund, Employability Fund, Skills Development Scotland and DWP Flexible Support Funds.Managing a social enterprise specialising in high amenity road reinstatements and slurry seal. In this role I was responsible for developing the services of the Community Enteprise to maximise impact and sustainability. The Community Enterprise was reliant on BIG Lottery funding and at risk of closure. A key aspect of my role was to ensure that the provision offered was in line with an evidence based need with a funding strategy in place to support it.Developing strong partnerships was of critical importance and I worked closely with agencies including Forth Valley College, Skills Development Scotland, Stirling Council, DWP, Addiction Support and Counselling Forth Valley, Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise, homelessness services, throughcare and aftercare teams, local secondary schools and Active Stirling.As a member of the senior management team I worked with the senior staff reporting to the Board of Directors to reposition the Community Enterprise as a leading example of community based employability services.Contributed on the following local forums; Local Employability Partnerships, Employer Engagement Forum, Tackling Povery and Inequality, Third Sector Leaders Forum.

I was responsible for the management and development of the Community Enterprise function of Raploch URC Landholdings Limited including staff, services and budget management.Supported by BIG Lottery, the Community Enterprise delivered holistic training and skill development programmes to support unemployed people in their journey towards employment. I was responsible for service design, development, project management, quality assurance and continuous evaluation of all training programmes ensuring compliance with key agencies such as Skills Development Scotland, SQA and BIG Lottery.I contributed to the local Community Planning Partnership process ensuring that Raploch URC actively participated towards the objectives of the Council Single Outcome Agreement and that the services of the Community Enterprise remained in tune with the emerging needs of the wider Stirling community.I thrived on working collaboratively and developing relationships with key organisations who support those furthest removed from the labour market; criminal justice, homeless support agencies, addiction support agencies, local authority departments and third sector organisations.Developed a network of employers who pro-actively supported the progression of clients into the workplace and to raise awareness of the available Community Enterprise services. I was responsible for sourcing new income streams to support the Community Enterprise and its sustainability beyond 2016 including grant funding and delivering contracted services in ground maintenance and professional training services.
