• Head of PE that involves managing a team of 4 staff, overseeing curriculum developments and ensuring the quality of teaching and learning and student progression.• Responsible for the development of substantial extra-curricular activities that includes lunch time clubs and afterschool events and a year round programme of fixtures with other schools.• Lead responsibility for Lacrosse, Netball, Athletics, Cross-Country and Tennis.• Teaching also includes Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Gymnastics and Dance, plus academic A Level and GCSE PE.• Year 9 tutor and teach Personal, Social and Health Education to Year 8.
