About Emma Mae Stackhouse
I grew up in the beautiful state of Colorado where I gained an appreciation for the outdoors and an interest in sustainability. Post secondary school, I spent time in Guatemala and Malaysia volunteering with community programs where I witnessed the effects of our environmental crisis up close. I was deeply moved by the people and places I encountered during that trip and afterwards, knew I wanted to use my longtime passion for arts to work towards change. In 2022 I came to New York and began my journey with the Fashion Institute of Technology where I now study Fashion Business Management. My goal is to join innovation efforts in fashion business that seek to mitigate impacts on our environment. I believe there is so much room for growth and creativity in this space and I’m eager to see its possibilities.
