Emma began her love of teaching in her teens when she began teaching and coaching swimming. She continued coaching throughout her early twenties and also began her studies to complete her Bachelor of Education. She also worked for 10 years as a Program Officer within the Outdoor Education sector. Within this role she was responsible for facilitating lessons where students learnt how to step out of their comfort zones, gain confidence and have fun, while being active.Emma taught for 6 years in the NSW public school system, where she worked her way up to becoming Relieving Assistant Principal at her school and was involved in the organisation of school sport within the local community. She has recently returned from overseas where she taught English, Mathematics and Science to local children. This was a fantastic experience that sparked her passion for teaching again. This has in turn lead her to want to take the leap into starting a Begin Bright business and do her part to help children develop a passion for learning and become happy, smart, confident citizens of tomorrow.
