SAV Credit (re-branded as NewDay Cards Ltd in 2014) were a small, innovative and dynamic company seeking to offer credit cards to consumers often rejected by mainstream lenders, due to their poor credit rating. The consumer acquisition brand was aqua. By developing a bespoke risk management and marketing strategy for sub-prime consumers, SAV Credit built a strong position - lending profitably to an over-looked segment of the market.My responsibilities included:* Development and execution of the off-line direct marketing plan to meet account targets* Assist in the transfer of a £385m portfolio of business – to include customer experience & communications management, provision of specialist knowledge of fulfilment systems and cross-departmental project liaison* Management and mentoring of marketing team* Accountable for providing specialist marketing knowledge and detailed management data to rest of business* Responsibility for maintaining external supplier relationships
