Hi! I’m a senior at Utah Tech University, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Criminology and a minor in Social Justice. With a 4.0 GPA, I’ve demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and leadership throughout my education. Balancing my academic pursuits with creative expression, I serve as the principal French Horn player in Utah Tech’s Symphonic Band and perform with the Southwest Symphony. These experiences have helped me develop not only time management skills but also the ability to think analytically and creatively.Currently, I’m interning at Utah Tech’s Digital Forensics Crime Lab, where I have gained hands-on experience in several areas of forensic science. My responsibilities include conducting research on cutting-edge forensic technologies, such as 3D scanning and mapping, analyzing lab data, managing design and social media, and assisting in the editing and production of the lab’s monthly newsletter. Through this internship, I’ve developed strong skills in data analysis and forensic research while collaborating with law enforcement professionals.I’ve also had the unique opportunity to travel as part of my role. I represented the lab at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference and traveled to INTERPOL headquarters in Singapore, where I learned from top industry experts and contributed to exhibits.I am passionate about pursuing a career as a Forensic Science Technician or Crime Analyst, where I can use my research skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex data to contribute to public safety and criminal justice. I look forward to connecting with professionals who share my dedication to making a positive impact in these fields.
